Die "Walter Grandjot Test und Messtechnik Services GmbH" erstellt Prüfprogramme für den "End-of-Line" Test der Elektronikproduktion für Kunden in ganz EU. Sie wurde 1996 von Dipl.-Ing. Walter Grandjot als langjährigem Mitglied des Hewlett-Packard Boardtest-Applikations-Teams gegründet und beschäftigt heute zehn festangestellte Ingenieure und Techniker sowie mehrere freie Mitarbeiter.
In Ergänzung des Kerngebietes "elektrischer Test" haben wir ein kostengünstiges automatisiertes Sichtprüfsystem entwickelt, für das wir jetzt einen Vertriebspartner suchen. Basierend auf einer innovativen Idee sind wir in der Lage, ein sehr wirtschaftliches System anzubieten (80% der Leistung für 1/3 des Preises derzeit auf dem Markt befindlicher Systeme). 
PlatiScan VI Optisches Inspektionssystem zur schnellen automatisierten Sichtprüfung
Unser Ziel: "You can see it? Then we can detect it!"
PlatiScan VI ist ein automatisiertes Visual Inspection System, bei dem das menschliche Vorgehen bei der manuellen Sichprüfung per Software nachgebildet ist. Mit geschützten Algorithmen werden Fehler entdeckt, die üblicherweise nur in der manuellen Sichtprüfung gefunden werden können.
Ziel ist, den Anteil der nicht geprüften Bauteile zu reduzieren und die Fehler-Abdeckung deutlich zu erhöhen (im In-Circuit- und Funktionstest werden üblicherweise nur 70% aller Bauteile erfasst).
Das System besteht aus einer Photo-Kamera mit Beleuchtung, positioniert über dem Prüfling und gesteuert von einem PC mit PlatiScan-Software.
Die Kamera nimmt ein Bild des Prüflings auf, welches zum PC übertragen und analysiert wird. Erkannte Fehler werden ausgedruckt oder graphisch angezeigt.
PlatiScan VI ist erhältlich als "Standalone System" oder als integrierte Lösung in Verbindung mit dem HP/Agilent Incircuit Testsystem. Da die Bildauswertung dann parallel zum Incircuit-Test abläuft, erfolgt sie "quasi in Nullzeit".
